Application
Gray Iron
-
Good Chill reduction particularly in iron of C.E. 3.5-3.85 %.
- Presence of Mn produces low melting compound and hence, ideally suited for low pouring temperatures.
- High Ba content makes it equally effective at higher temperatures.
- Very good fading resistance. Inoculation effect lasts longer.
S.G.Iron
- A good replacement for 75% FeSi Inoculation.
- Not recommended for fully ferritic as cast grades.
