Application
Gray Iron
- Excellent Chill Reduction, particulars in thin sections.
- The eutectic cell size is not reduced appreciably and hence, low shrinkage tendency.
- Effective for gray irons with a minimum sulphur level of 0.04%.
S.G.Iron
- Very effective in thin section S.G.Iron castings, if TRE levels are low. Not effective if Ce levels are high in the melt.
